Al-Azhar Journal of Agricultural Research is Issued by the Faculty of Agriculture in Cairo - Al-Azhar University, a specialized journal covering all fields of agricultural sciences, located in the Faculty of Agriculture in Cairo - Al-Azhar University.

Al-Azhar Journal for Agricultural Research is responsible for reviewing and publishing specialized researches in the fields of agricultural sciences and related sciences from Al-Azhar University and Egyptian and foreign universities and research centers.

The Missions

Our missions are to be a specialized scientific journal in the field of agricultural scientific research and provide research applications in Arabic and English and contribute to the development of the agricultural sector and serve the community and the environment at the local and international levels.

* It is considered a reference for researchers in the agricultural field, whether from Egypt or abroad.

* Publication of specialized agricultural research.

 * Communicating agricultural information to Arab readership by publishing research abstracts in Arabic to ensure the publishing agricultural culture in various fields.

* Increase the quality of scientific research, which contributes to improve the classification of the faculty of Agriculture, Al-Azhar University.

* Expanding the spread of agricultural research by placing the journal on the World Wide Web.

The Origination.

The Faculty of Agriculture at Al-Azhar University has issued a specialized scientific journal named Al-Azhar Journal of Agricultural Research. It covers all fields of agriculture and has been issued since 1973 to keep up with the movement of scientific and research activity in the faculty. It carries the character and name of Al-Azhar. The journal is issued twice a year, once in June and the another issue in December.
