Abstract
The objectives of this research were as follows: Determining Knowledge degree of studied rural youth with the concept of community security. Determining feeling degree of the availability of economic, social, and community security totally. Determining the relation of the studied independent variables and their feeling degree of the availability of community security in general. Determining the problems that reduce their feeling towards the availability of community security, and their suggestions to overcome it. This research was conducted on a sample of 378 respondents from Monoufia governorate. Data were collected using a questionnaire on which tests of validity and reliability were conducted during the months of February and March 2021 with a personal interview with respondents. Data were statistically analyzed using tables, frequencies, percentage, weighted average, simple correlation coefficient, and chi- square (×2). Finding of the research were as follows: Nearly three quarters of studied (72,5%) their knowledge level of community security was high. The highest percentage of studied, their level of feeling of both economic security and social security. More than two thirds of the studied (67,8%) their overall feeling level of the availability of community security was totally medium. The most important problems that reduces the respondents feeling of the availability of community security were: the spread of unemployment and inequality between people in rights and duties. The most important suggestions to solve these problems were: providing job opportunities for the youth and equality between people in rights and duties. The research ended up with some recommendations derived from its results.
